1st pair were the "cool greys" which i copped from my local house of hoops:
2nd pair were the "49ers" which i copped from my local shoe palace:
they're relatively tight when you 1st put them on, but will become more and more comfortable and loosen up as they get worn more often. they have a "sock-like" fit n' feel to them (w/ the inner lining and tongue being this stretchy spandex-like material), but actually having the velcro strap looped in and closed makes the shoe feel way too tight over the forefoot area. while i understand it's meant to "lockdown" the foot in the forefoot area when actually training, we all know that these retro trainers when rocked are for show, and not for go. that's why you see a ton of "on feet" images of these shoes with the straps completely hanging/dangling off to the side (which is also flashy, but in a cool way sort of way).
what are your opinions on this classic silhouette? and what's your favorite colorway?
btw, i'm gettin' excited about the nike air speed turf max silhouette that will be droppin' this summer...nike retro trainers ftw!
love the setup!!! Great photos - DSLR, right?
